- At the start of the tour, you will visit the historic center: the central square of the Gate of the Sun, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Opera House, the Oriental Square, the Royal Palace (outside only) and the Sabatini Gardens, as well as the Cathedral of Santa Maria de la Almudena. I will tell you about which cultural layer these architectural monuments belong to, and also recommend colorful Spanish restaurants and popular dishes from different regions of Spain, which are worth trying during lunch.
- Next, to save time and see more, let's move on to the automotive part of the tour with photo stops. You will appreciate the picturesque Plaza de España and the ancient Egyptian temple of Debod; drive along the main streets of Gran Via and Alcala. On the way, see the façade of the Central Bank, the Telecommunications Palace, the Alcala Gate, the Retiro Park, which, although they are symbols of the city, have a relation to the later historical period. As well as Columbus Square and the National Library.
