Our sightseeing walk will cover almost the entire city center. You will have the opportunity to understand from your own experience what the “historical axis of Paris” is, and get acquainted with the basic must-see of the French capital. I will talk not only about what kind of buildings we see in front of us, but also which of the greats of the past and present honored them with their attention. In addition, the route is built in such a way that we start at the building of one world famous opera house and finish at the other. It will be very interesting to compare them!
We will walk from one of the symbols of the Second Empire to the ultra-modern theater, which is only 25 years old. In memory of our walk, I will take you some beautiful photos!
Route
We will meet at one of the busiest Parisian crossroads, namely on the steps of the "big cake" - the famous Opéra Garnier, as real Parisians do.
I will show you the world-famous cafe where Tchaikovsky, Zola and Maupassant loved to visit. Today, in the cafe you can meet not only world celebrities, but also dancers of the Paris Opera. By the way, the café and the Opera have one architect - Charles Garnier.
You will see the house where Chopin died, a cozy café serving the best hot chocolate in Paris and you will learn what the expression “Parisian royal perspective” means.
We will walk along one of the most chic and fashionable streets of the French capital to find ourselves in the most fashionable square in Paris. We will see the famous hotel "Ritz" of the Egyptian billionaire Al-Faed, where Princess Diana spent her last days.
Then we will walk through the oldest Tuileries park, admire the famous ponds and take pictures with a panoramic view that opens onto the Place de la Concorde.
Further we will see one of the richest museums in the world - the Louvre and its pyramid. We will walk along the romantic Seine embankment, which has inspired artists and writers for centuries, wave sailing ships, standing on the oldest bridge in Paris.
We will see the bird market, second-hand booksellers, the city hall and finally reach the second Parisian opera - the Bastille opera, which is considered one of the most modern opera houses in Europe. I will tell you why its construction caused so much controversy and why the state recently sued contractors.
