We will walk in the center past the oldest churches, squares, bridges and parks, and you will discover what historical events are hidden behind many of them. Valencia
Valencia is a rather small city, but filled with a lot of extraordinary things. The third largest city in the kingdom is among the most significant cities not only in Spain, but throughout the Mediterranean territory, literally every corner in it has its own history.
Program
Story. I will tell you how the city was founded, where the bat is on the coat of arms of Valencia, what significance the Turia River had here and what is now in its place. You will learn about local agriculture, see the heritage of the Romans and Arabs.
Culture. You will become closer to the culture of the Valencians after my stories about their language, traditions, holidays and cuisine. Among other things, you will learn about the main products grown and produced in the city, how to properly prepare and eat (yes, this process is also regulated) real Valencian paella and why foreigners consider Valencians to be pyromaniac.
Local advice. At the end of the tour, I will be happy to answer your questions, advise where to eat, where to go, what to do. I will explain when it is better to go to a particular museum, and also tell you what to see outside the city.
