Vasa was to become the flagship of the Royal Navy, the most powerful and well-equipped ship. However, imperial ambitions ruined this giant of his time, he sank when leaving the harbor, without having been in a single battle. Inhabitants of Stockholm of the 17th century, who gathered to watch the sailing of the ship, witnessed the disaster … The ship sank at a depth of 32 meters and lay in the waters of the Baltic for exactly 333 years!
