Locarno and mountain settlements We will meet early in the morning and go to the old Piazza Grande, where famous film, jazz and rock festivals are held annually. You will stroll along the promenade, see the picturesque port and modern terminal complex. Then I will take you by car to the mountains, and on the way we will make a stop at a picturesque the town of Intragna, where an interesting institute of chimney sweeps is located, produces walnut oil and sews traditional rag shoes (peduli). Next, an old tram will take you to an altitude of 1500 meters, to a small village with rare stone houses of the 16th century. Here you will relax in a family-run grotto (typical restaurant) and sample traditional Swiss cuisine
Alpine meadows and fabulous Ascona The path will continue along the slope valleys of Centovalliwhere you will find magical landscapes of snowy peaks, inspiring panoramas, emerald rivers and an air filled with the aromas of blooming alpine meadows. By 3 p.m. you will reach Ascona by going down to Valley of Lake Maggiore … On a walk through the old streets, you will drop by a local winemaker for a glass of wine from the famous brand. Hear about the city's past and its contemporary culture. And finally, watch the beautiful sunset accompanied by the sounds of pleasant music on the waterfront
