Secrets of French winemaking The participants of the quest will see how grape vines grow and examine the composition of the soils of the largest wine regions of France. You will learn how French wine is made and stored, explore the different bottle formats, the collection of labels, wine barrels and much more
Wine aroma research In the room with samples of wine aromas, you will learn to hear and distinguish the most subtle wine notes, try to guess the groups of smells and find out why the wine acquires this or that aroma. I will tell you how to determine the quality of the drink and the grape variety by the smell of wine, and also talk about how you can smell the wine without using your sense of smell directly
The subtleties of taste at a wine tasting A separate part of our tour is dedicated to the taste of the drink: you will learn how to identify old, young and aged wines by taste. We will talk about how to recognize low-quality wine and what shades of color different grape varieties possess. At the tasting, you will master the basic rituals of wine etiquette and find out with what the French compare wine during tasting and what epithets it is awarded with. During the excursion, you will taste 3 types of wines (if you wish, the volume of tasting can be increased and agreed on the spot).
