Poetry of the Volga region In the colony of Unterwalden, I will take you to a wooden house, where Tsarevich Alexander and Vasily Zhukovsky, the youth's mentor, spent the night. We will talk about how German villages are connected with Gabriel Romanovich Derzhavin, and try to see the first Parnassus of Russian poetry on the horizon. In Zurich, we will see the Church of Jesus the King - a unique example of the complete restoration of a German Gothic monument - and have a hearty lunch at a guest house, where you can also watch a film about the colony and the Lutheran church. Weather permitting, we will walk through an oak grove and swim in Lake Zurich. Returning, we will look into the former Yekaterinenstadt to see a monument to the Empress, who created a new civilization in these lands.
