What awaits you
Educational program for civilians Using the deductive method, I will initiate you into the world "under the roof", starting with the prison origins in my country and ending with real stories about setups, long consequences and escapes. You will see the original prison plan and archival photographs inside and out. You will find out how prisoners are kept and whether amnesty is possible in Belarus (or is it a beautiful myth). We will also go through all the stages of a prisoner's "morale" - from the moment of arrest to release. It is interesting to know about this side of life in the only country in Europe where the death penalty has not yet been abolished? Then I'm waiting for you on an excursion
City dungeons and buildings - "gray cardinals" Have Ministry of Internal Affairs of Minsk I will immerse you in curious statistics and behind the scenes system of investigative life. Further, after a few meters, you will see the roof KGB jail - such a prison for especially grave criminals against the state. The cameras here are in the shape of coffins, and the story of the containment regime will give you goosebumps. But the main object of our excursion is not far away - it is SIZO No. 1 of the city of Minsk, Pishchalovsky castle, or simply "Volodarka"… The building was originally built as a city prison, but now it is a classic prison. In Stalin's time, the entire flower of the Belarusian intelligentsia was passed through its walls, and even now well-known personalities fly here, but more about everything when you meet.
