Pest: history at every turn After crossing the Chain Bridge to Pest, you will appreciate Heroes' Square, walk through Millennium Park, and say hello to Anonymous. Further along the front Andrassy Avenue, you will reach the Basilica of St. Stephen, look at the monument to Soviet soldiers on Freedom Square and find out where Reagan is in a hurry. See the magnificent Parliament, Gresham Palace and the Academy of Sciences, and light a candle at the shoe-shaped monument dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust.
