Of course, a historic stage awaits you: boxes shining in gold, a colorful ceiling and a chandelier made of 24 thousand crystal elements. You will feel yourself in the 18th and 19th centuries, and we will talk about the times when people went to the theater not only to see a performance, but also to “see people and show themselves”. After the parterre we will go to the mezzanine and to the gallery, where students have always gathered.
Also, during the tour, I will show you the audience and the imperial foyer, the choral, exhibition and Beethoven halls. You will learn about the purpose of these rooms and reveal a couple of interior secrets.

Organizational details
It is important to understand that the theater is a living, acting organism, and its internal mode is subordinated to the ultimate goal, the success of the performance. If a rehearsal is taking place on the Bolshoi stage, especially an orchestral one, the entrance to the stalls may be restricted or even prohibited. In this case, we, as a rule, go up the gallery: this way you will become not only excursionists, but spectators; watch the process of creating the performance! Most of our guests do not complain about the blackout in the auditorium, but perceive this situation as good luck. But I am obliged to warn about this probability.
How the excursion goes
- We are examining the spectator section. The entrance to the working premises (artists' dressing rooms, stage, ballet classes, etc.) is prohibited by the theater management.
- Individual excursions (they are also possible) must be coordinated separately. The cost of an individual excursion: 6500 rubles. for 1-3 people or 2000 rubles. per person, if there are more of you.
