What awaits you

Mount Pulchoki, Himalayan landscapes and ancient forest At about 8:00 am I will pick you up at your hotel and we will go straight to Pulchoki by jeep. In 1.5-2 hours we will reach the top of the mountain (2700 m), which translates as “place of flowers”. You will see a small ancient sanctuary and have a wonderful view of the Himalayas. From there, we will begin our descent on foot through the ancient beautiful deciduous forest. Following the ancient stone path, you will again admire the snowy peaks, and in the spring you will see the blooming rhododendrons

Visiting the Tamang family In about 1.5-2 hours we will come to the house of representatives of the Tamang people, which is located at the top of the ridge. Here you will relax, socialize and have lunch in a sincere company. You will be treated to the main dish of local cuisine - dalbhat. These are rice, lentil soup, stewed and fresh vegetables and a little spicy sourdough (all separately). The dish will be prepared by the hostess of the family on the hearth using the traditional method. Not because for tourists, but because there is no other way - they themselves live this way and treat guests like that

Tamang villages and terraced fields After eating and resting, we will continue our descent by dirt road to the very bottom of the valley. Through fields of rice, wheat, mustard - depending on the season of the year. We will go down in 1-1.5 hours and rest a little more. You will see how ordinary rural life is boiling around: children go home from school, chickens and goats graze, housewives hang clothes, men drink afternoon tea and discuss something. From this point, you can walk to the town of Panauti or take a ride on local transport

The ancient town of the Newars At 3-4 o'clock in the afternoon we will be in Panauti and go for a walk in the old streets in the Newar style. You will see the houses, built of red brick and richly decorated with carvings. You will discover an atmospheric place where the complex of Shiva and Vishnu temples are hidden. Visit an ancient temple dedicated to the god Indra, and at the junction of two rivers, you will see sites for cremation of the dead. From here we will go to the ethnographic museum, where you will get to know more about such unusual traditions of the Nepalese, their architecture and religion. After that, we will get into the jeep and return to Kathmandu. You will be at the hotel by about 6 pm

Inside view All this time you will have the opportunity to learn as much as possible about the life of Nepal and the Nepalese. Their life, history, culture, beliefs and traditions, habits, politics and peculiarities of modern life from a person who has lived here for many years and selflessly loves this country.
