What awaits you
Leopoldstadt and Prater: modern architecture and green oasis The walk begins in Vienna's second district, Leopoldstadt. Here I will talk about the creation of the famous architect Zaha Hadid - the building of the Vienna University of Economics, reminiscent of an intergalactic ship, as well as other interesting modern buildings, such as the operating hippodrome. Then we will head to the local Disneyland, where we will walk along the Prater Alley, which until the middle of the 18th century was part of the hunting grounds, and now it is the main cycle and jogging path of the Prater Park
Landstrasse: Hundertwasser House and Museum After a couple of tram stops, you will find yourself in the third district, where the center of attention will be the colorful Hundertwasser house, on the roof of which the most real trees are wonderfully nestled. I will talk about a non-trivial project of an architect. Next to it, you can visit a shopping center with all kinds of souvenir shops, as well as a museum dedicated to the artist's work. On the ground floor of the Vienna House of Arts, over a cup of coffee, we will talk about the master, and if you wish, you can buy tickets, go up and inspect the exhibition
Legendary Ringstrasse and City Park A few more minutes by tram - and the walk continues along the Ringstrasse, where you will see the postal savings bank of Austria - the famous building designed and built in the Art Nouveau style, the observatory and the museum of applied arts. And here again we have a park in front of us - the crowns love to cultivate landscapes! In the City Park, I will tell you about a whole treasure trove of monuments to art workers, among which the gilded monument of Johann Strauss, as well as a sundial made of flowers, are in special honor
About the Vienna Opera and not only There will be a small portion of rumors and legends near the building of the world famous Vienna Opera, seasoned with my true story about buying stand-up tickets. After that I will tell you about the monument to Maria Theresa (not to be confused with Mother Teresa) on the square of the same name and help you figure it out, "vhu from vhu" on Heroes Square.
