Monasteries of Lori region In Alaverdi, the famous Armenian city in the gorge of the Debed River, you will visit two historical monasteries from the UNESCO list: Haghpat and Sanahin. Hear the legend about its founders-Masons and the legend about the stone cross of George the Illuminator. You will decipher the names of the monasteries and get acquainted with the temples of both complexes. You will also learn about Queen Khosrovanush, who built them in honor of the prosperity of her sons, and see the images of princes on one of the walls of the St. Nshan Church

House-Museum of Mikoyan Brothers You will also visit a museum opened in honor of the outstanding aircraft designer Artyom (Anushavan) and member of the USSR Politburo Anastas. See the model of the house where the brothers were born and spent their childhood, a wooden cradle made by the hands of Father Hovhannes, personal belongings and documentary exhibits telling about their activities. And besides, you will see a real MiG aircraft made in 1975 and the government car ZIL, which was once driven by Artem Mikoyan.
