What awaits you
Many-sided Vyborg Vyborg is a small town with a fascinating history and amazingly picturesque views. You will enjoy its panoramic view from the cliff, appreciate the country's first residential stone house and see local business cards: the Round Tower, Town Hall, Market Square and the medieval tower of St. Olaf. In addition, I will show the monument to Peter the Great, the archive building of the 1930s and Panzerlax, the only surviving bastion of the Horned Fortress
Vyborg fortresses Vyborg is famous throughout the country for outstanding stone examples of fortification art of the 13th-20th centuries. You will hear about the capture of the city by the troops of Peter I in 1710 and see the fortress Coron-St. Anna of that time. You will stop at the Singing Field, where summer theater and musical events take place today, and see the ancient East Vyborg fortifications. Finally, drive across the Friendship Bridge over the Saimaa Canal and enjoy a wonderful view of the bay.
