What awaits you
City of the winged horse In the first part of the excursion we will visit Zlatoust - this is the highest city in the South Urals (400-600 meters above sea level). I will explain why it is unofficially called "the city of the winged horse" and will take you to the bell tower, from where you can see the panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges. To understand how Zlatoust became the cradle of a unique art - engraving on steel - we will visit the Oruzheinik factory, where decorated edged weapons are made. Here you will get acquainted with the hard work of a blacksmith and the painstaking work of metal artists who, using varnish and etching, apply designs to blades. You will also learn how to throw knives and take a saber from the famous Damascus steel in your hands
Black rock - Taganay in miniature Then we will go to the Taganay National Park. In order to have time to enjoy the beautiful views of the mountain ranges in a short time, I will take you to the Black Rock. Here you can see mountains, flora and landscapes typical for the whole Taganay! In addition, you will see picturesque views of the Two-headed Hill, Otkliknoy Ridge, Kruglitsa, Valley of Fairy Tales, Zlatoust and other significant places of the park - therefore, acquaintance with Taganai will be short, but close.
