We will walk along the rocky bank, explore the health trail and cross the stone river. And having climbed the Zyuratkul ridge, we will admire the view of the lake, which lies surrounded by green mountains. What awaits you
The path to the national park We have to overcome a couple of hundred kilometers, drive through the forest-steppe section and go deeper into the mountain-forest part of the Chelyabinsk region. You will see how one landscape replaces another, and you will be convinced of the natural diversity of the South Urals. And my stories about the history of the region and its legends will not let you get bored on the way
"Heart" or "graveyard"? As soon as we get to the national park, first of all, we will go to the shore of the lake: it was this that gave the name to both the park and the ridge. While you admire the clear water, I will tell you mythological and quite scientific versions of the origin of the name of the lake: from the romantic “heart-lake” to the gloomy “lake-cemetery”. Why the water in the lake is tea-colored, what events influenced the change in the shape of the lake, who and when lived next to it, and other interesting facts and stories await you on the walk
Conquest of the Zyuratkul ridge And then we have to climb the ridge! In 4-5 hours we will cover about 12 km. The first part of the path is a pleasant walk along a wonderful trail covered with wooden flooring. The rest of the route will have to be overcome along a steep kurumnik: a stone river representing a chaotic pile of stones. But at the end of the path, a rocky ridge will be waiting for us, similar to the ruins of an ancient castle. From this height, you can see the whole Zyuratkul lake with capes, bays and surrounding mountain ranges: Urenga, Lukash, Nurgush, Moskal.
