Reindeer herders' camp: the real North without tourists From Lovozero we will go where not only travelers, but also locals usually do not get - to the reindeer breeders' parking lot. Here the Sami and Komi live an authentic life - they do not meet tourists, do not dress up in costumes and do not pretend to worship idols. They carefully preserve harmony with the forest and honor the traditions of their ancestors, are engaged in reindeer husbandry and other trades. You will feel the atmosphere of the true Russian North, observe the everyday Sami life and, of course, see herds of stately deer, which you can pet and feed
During the winter season, you can also go for a reindeer or dog sledding ride.
