Legendary Tsaritsyn Fortress At the end of the 16th century, a small guard fortress appeared on the territory of the Lower Volga steppes, which was named Tsaritsyn. You will see where its borders were and what size it was. Consider the engravings and sketches associated with it, and easily imagine the lost palisades, towers and log cabins.
