"Klin shelter" We will visit the places where Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky spent the last 13 years of his life: Frolovskoe, Demyanovo, Maidanovo. You will see an abandoned old manor house and a mansion where the House of Culture is now located, and visit the place where the most New Year's music in the world was written - the Nutcracker ballet. I will show you old photographs and tell you what the local area looked like 120 years ago, and then we will walk through the parks with century-old oak trees and recall other works written by composers during this period of their lives
Tchaikovsky Museum In the memorial museum, you will reveal the secrets of Tchaikovsky's life and learn about his family and brother Modest, the founder of the museum. His efforts in the museum turned out to be the composer's personal fund: manuscripts of his works, diaries, notebooks, epistolary heritage, a library, photographs, works of fine art, household items, as well as a large layer of valuable materials reflecting the life of his music in space and time. You will be amazed at the richness of the book and music libraries and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the 19th century
Christmas tree toy In addition, in Klin there is an unusual museum of Christmas tree decorations, where the New Year reigns every day. In 12 halls of the "Klinsky Podvorye" there are amazing, rare exhibits. You will find out what Christmas trees used to decorate and learn about the history of the glass-blowing factory. And then, if you want, you will take part in an interesting master class.
Organizational details
- The tour takes place in my car with a comfortable seating for up to 3-4 people. I will pick you up from Moscow from the Govorovo metro station and bring you back after the excursion.
- Entrance fees to the P. I. Tchaikovsky (400 rubles per person) and the museum complex of a Christmas tree toy (450 rubles per person), as well as a master class on making a Christmas tree toy (300 rubles per person) are paid separately
