What awaits you
Protected trails of Karelia The eco-trail, which we have to explore, will allow you to look at the main beauties of the reserved Karelia. In just an hour, you will meet forest waterfalls and moss-covered rocks, Ladoga seal and northern orchid. I will help you figure out how the local relief was formed and how the taiga differs from other ecosystems. And on the way, an exciting quest awaits you: get ready to identify the beast on its trail and answer interesting questions about the nature of Karelia. And all this is surrounded by a coniferous forest, a river, velvet moss and air that you can eat with a spoon
History of Lososinsky Park Back in the 19th Drevlyansky century, the garden of the bishop's dacha was a favorite place for the townspeople - and it remains so after almost two centuries. On the forest paths you will hear the history of these places, find out what the Lososinka River used to be like and what role it played in the life of Petrozavodsk. In addition, our route will pass the Kennel Service: here you will see a monument to the brave dog Amur and, if you're lucky, watch how furry law enforcement officers are being trained. And at the end of the walk, we can climb to the Kurgan sports complex to admire Petrozavodsk from above
If desired, we can visit the local history corner of the Vodlozersky National Park Visitor Center in Petrozavodsk. Its exposition is dedicated to the Karelian nature, and also tells about the park itself. Here you can also walk along a short eco-trail and take pictures in the courtyard of the center near the photo zone.
- Please do not forget that the Karelian weather is changeable and be prepared for its whims. In addition, the route passes through a forested area, so choose comfortable shoes.
- For those who think that food always tastes better in the fresh air, I can take a thermos of hot tea and a small snack with me.
- A visit to the local history corner is paid separately (optional)
The meeting point is by agreement with the guide, you can discuss it when ordering the excursion.
