Here, in the village of Monastyrshchino, a memorial to the heroes who fell on the battlefield was erected. According to a legend recorded at the end of the 19th century, the soldiers were buried at the site of an ancient temple. You will enter the shrine, designed by the architect A.G. Bocharnikov in 1865-1896 on the site of a wooden church, and after that you will get to know Dmitry Donskoy, from whose monument the Alley of Memory and Unity begins. Here we will consider the signs of cities and lands whose soldiers participated in the Battle of Kulikovo.
