Big and Small Bermamyt: a walk over the abyss Our goal is the legendary plateau, which is only 30 km away from the main snow giant Elbrus. Climbing Bermamyt, you will admire the bizarre shapes of mountain ranges and asymmetrical cliffs, see the fantastic rock formations Monks and the Amphitheater. And of course, you will admire the Eshkakon Gorge from a dizzying height - just for the sake of this panorama it is worth climbing the plateau! I will tell you the legend about Bolshoi and Maly Bermamyt, which will take you to the days of the heroes-narts. Let us also remember what poets and artists were inspired by these places
Waterfalls of Grishkina Balka On the way to the plateau, we will descend into the valley of the Eshkakon River to explore the famous Grishkina Balka, one of the most beautiful places in Karachay-Cherkessia. Here we will find cascading waterfalls, behind which are hidden a system of pink karst caves. And on a sunny day, the sparkling spray of the waterfalls will be complemented by a bright rainbow!
