Follow the map! At the start, you will receive a scroll with the first general plan of Yekaterinburg: after carefully examining it, we will find out where the fortress wall came from in the city and where it disappeared later. We will pass from the northern to the southern border of the former fortress, and on the way we will remember what a “bastion”, “half-bastion”, “moat” and “slingshot” are, where “Zarechny tyn” and “Zelenye gates” were located and what can now be found on their location. In addition, you will see

Mysteries of the Ural city Step by step, you will discover interesting details of Yekaterinburg history. You will find out where and when the Time Capsule was laid and how long it remains to wait for its opening. You will walk along the Mineralogical alley and hear about the Ural gems. Hold in your hands a copper coin issued by the Yekaterinburg Mint. In the open-air park of equipment you will see the screaming hammer of 1826 At the end of the quest, we will find ourselves at the monument to the founding fathers of the city and figure out why Yekaterinburg has two of them and what they hold in their hands.
Organizational details
- In winter, in the middle of the way, we will stop at a coffee shop, where you can visit the toilet and drink tea or coffee.
- At the end of the excursion, we can visit a cafe in a 19th century mansion. Food and drinks are not included in the tour price. The average bill is 300-400 rubles per person.
- At your request, you can additionally organize a master class on sculpting rolls. The cost is 500 rubles per person. Must be booked in advance (at least 2 days before the tour).
